ED and Premature Ejaculation Together: How Combination Tablets Fit In
Erection problems and premature ejaculation are often treated as separate issues, but many men have both, and each can make the other worse. Worry about losing an erection can make you rush; finishing too soon can feed performance anxiety next time. That is why combination tablets exist.
What is in them
Tablets such as Super P-Force and Super Kamagra contain two medicines:
- Sildenafil 100 mg, a PDE5 inhibitor that improves blood flow to the penis during arousal.
- Dapoxetine 60 mg, a short-acting medicine from the SSRI family that helps delay ejaculation for a few hours.
How they are used
- One tablet about 1 to 3 hours before sex, with water.
- Never more than one tablet in 24 hours, and not for daily use.
- A heavy meal can slow the sildenafil part.
- If you feel light-headed, sit or lie down and do not drive.
Who should avoid them
Anyone taking nitrates for chest pain (or "poppers"), men with serious heart problems or very low blood pressure, and anyone on antidepressants or other serotonin medicines such as tramadol, triptans or St John's Wort. Avoid alcohol too: with dapoxetine it makes dizziness and fainting more likely.
If you only have one problem
If your only trouble is erections, a sildenafil-only tablet is usually the better fit. If your erections are fine and only timing is the issue, the sildenafil part may be unnecessary. This is a good question to take to your doctor.
A valid prescription is required for these medicines. Read the full guide to sildenafil and dapoxetine, see the Super P-Force tablets page, or buy generic ED pills online.
